We at The Ackerman Clinic are committed to technological innovation. Our dentists are highly trained in the newest techniques, giving you access to the most effective and least invasive dental treatment there is.

Advanced scanners: Your dentist can take precise images of your jaw and bone structure with orthopantomograms (OPGs), enabling them to provide highly accurate diagnoses and recommend the most appropriate treatments.
3D scanning: Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) scans offer detailed three-dimensional information of the teeth and jaw. Your dentist will use these scans for implant treatment planning and diagnostics to ensure precise results.
Computer guided surgery: Using the results of the CBCT scan above, our clinicians can design and create customised implants and/ or produce surgical guides (case dependent) to place implants. This method is incredibly accurate, less intrusive and decreases post-operative discomfort.

Piezo Surgery: The application of piezoelectric surgery is an excellent tool to handle delicate or compromised hard- and soft-tissue conditions with less risk for the patient. Minimal accidental damage to adjacent soft-tissue structures allows for a safe and gentle surgical approach, particularly to thin and fragile bony structures.
Advanced sterilisation: Every instrument at The Ackerman Clinic is disinfected using watertight procedures and the latest technology to ensure complete sterility, and peace of mind for you.
Low radiation x-rays: Our clinicians use digital x-ray equipment. This means that they are able to access images instantly, and it also reduces radiation exposure significantly.
